Pigeon Forge

This past weekend, Jaz and I went with our Sunday School class on a retreat to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This was really a great time for our class to get close with each other & with God. The first night we arrived, we ate at Texas Roadhouse & overstuffed ourselves. The next day, we woke up to snow on the ground, & it was still snowing really good. We ended up going to Gatlinburg(the next town over) to do some souvenir shopping. Lots of things to do there. That night, we came back to the lodge & watched "The Pirates of The Caribbean". At the end of that we talked about the fate and fortune of Christians according to Ephesians 1:3-10. We stayed up that night until almost two just talking & hanging out. The next morning was checkout by 11:00 a.m., but before that, we did a short Bible Study on "Being a Branch" for Christ. The whole trip back to Atlanta was a stop and go, because of potty breaks and taco cravings, but we finally made it back around 4:30 pm. Anyway, we really had a blast & I think we took advantage of the time we had together as a class to get closer to each other & God!

Kendall is 2!!

Here is Kendall at his 2nd Birthday party. I believe he had a wonderful time blowing out his "Pablo" (from Backyardigans), that his mommy made for him. This was also Jasmine's first decorated cake she has ever made. I would say she did a marvelous job!!! Anyway, back the the wild one. He really appreciated his gifts from everyone. Some of the things he received were, some big legos that go in a pull cart, a Veggie tales kite, a buzz lightyear RC car, a spiderman light-up character that talks, a Spiderman soft cushion chair, a alphabet & number name game for the fridge, and he also received some money that he just couldn't wait to get into his piggy bank.(man, is that heavy)

The Bahamas!!

Here are some of the pics that Jaz & I took on our recent 5 year anniversary trip to the Bahamas. We had such a good time & almost didn't want to return. While there, some of the stuff that went on was, we saw two octopie (spelling), one of which squirted water at us and scared us to death; We also saw lots of starfish, sea urchins, and one night we even saw some glow in the dark fish.(this completely freaked us out) Really, it was some of the best times we've had married. Although, it was very windy the whole time we were there, the temp couldn't have been much better. The highs were 78 and the lows were 67. Boy, were we bummed at coming back to cold & rainy weather back in the Southeast. Hopefully, you will read the post right before this one.... It is some big news!!!! Love you guys! & we will keep you informed as time goes along.

BIG NEWS!!!!

We have some News for everyone to know!!! First off, Kendall either just figured out how to read, or, he overheard us say that the test was positive.(Both Times!!!). Yes, It is true, Kendall is expecting..... a sibling... Love All Of Ya!!!! Posted by Picasa
