Pigeon Forge

This past weekend, Jaz and I went with our Sunday School class on a retreat to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This was really a great time for our class to get close with each other & with God. The first night we arrived, we ate at Texas Roadhouse & overstuffed ourselves. The next day, we woke up to snow on the ground, & it was still snowing really good. We ended up going to Gatlinburg(the next town over) to do some souvenir shopping. Lots of things to do there. That night, we came back to the lodge & watched "The Pirates of The Caribbean". At the end of that we talked about the fate and fortune of Christians according to Ephesians 1:3-10. We stayed up that night until almost two just talking & hanging out. The next morning was checkout by 11:00 a.m., but before that, we did a short Bible Study on "Being a Branch" for Christ. The whole trip back to Atlanta was a stop and go, because of potty breaks and taco cravings, but we finally made it back around 4:30 pm. Anyway, we really had a blast & I think we took advantage of the time we had together as a class to get closer to each other & God!

What a great opportunity to witness and to share in a setting that shows off God's handiwork so well!
